Bridge (Mac)
How do I install the bridge?
Download the .dmg from the AEA Bridge page, quit your DAWs and double-click the .pkg inside. Then insert the plug-in on the master in your DAW and set up Mackie Control (the same page has the steps per DAW).
How do I uninstall the bridge?
Quit your DAWs, double-click AEA Bridge Uninstall in the .dmg and click Uninstall. Everything it installed is removed; the app is not.
I can't see the Live tab
Live works only on Mac; iPhone and iPad don't have this tab. On Mac, if the tab is locked, it opens with Pro + Live (the full bundle), the Live upgrade or the free 5-day trial.
Live says "waiting" and no audio comes in
- Is the AEA Bridge plug-in on the master in your DAW (and on the channels, for Channel Clash)?
- Is the DAW playing? Measuring happens only while audio comes in.
- Use Audio Units in Logic, VST3 in Cubase; in Fender, either works.
DAW setup
Logic Pro
Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > Setup → New > Install → Mackie Control; Output Port and Input Port: AEA.
Cubase
The installer adds the MIDI Remote script. If it doesn't connect, check that AEA is enabled in Studio → MIDI Remote Manager; if it doesn't respond, click Reload Scripts.
Fender Studio Pro
Preferences → External Devices → Add → Mackie Control; Receive From and Send To: AEA. The "Solo Follows Selection" setting affects soloing; see section 5 of the guide.
Known issues
In Logic, the keys (solo, channel stepping) don't work
If Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > Setup lists more than one Mackie Control surface (left over from earlier attempts), delete all but the one connected to AEA. Extra surfaces can catch the same commands and keep the keys from reaching AEA.
The installer says "AEA Bridge can't be installed right now"
Quit Logic, Cubase and Fender Studio Pro, then try again.
Fender doesn't recognize the VST3
Restart Fender after installing the bridge; if it still isn't recognized, use the AU.
Purchases
I bought something but it didn't unlock
Tap Restore purchase on the purchase screen or in Settings; Pro, Pro + Live, the Live upgrade and the trial are all restored. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple account you used to buy.
Is it a subscription? How do I cancel?
There's no subscription. Every purchase is one-time, never renews and doesn't need canceling. The Live trial is free too and simply closes when it ends.
My trial ended; can I restart it?
No. The trial can be used once per Apple account; reinstalling the app doesn't restart it.
I bought Pro by October 20, 2026
Live is unlocked for you for free. If you don't see it, tap "Restore purchase". Thank you for supporting us.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
App
There's no sound
Check your iPhone's silent switch, turn the volume up and make sure your headphones are connected. If it continues, quit the app completely and open it again.
Why are headphones recommended?
A phone speaker can't reproduce low frequencies or the stereo field; without headphones or studio monitors your results will mislead you.
I moved to a new device and lost my progress
Progress is stored only on your device and isn't transferred. Your purchases are tied to your Apple account and can be restored.
Which languages are supported?
English and Turkish.
Reporting a problem
Write to destek@audioengineeracademy.com with your device model and OS version, the screen you were on, how the problem happens and a screenshot if you have one. For Live issues, add your DAW's name and version; a log copied with "Copy log" on the Gain screen helps a lot.
